We go beyond traditional primary care by offering a comprehensive, integrated model that we designed to treat your whole person. In addition to preventive care, sick visits, and chronic disease management for conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heart disease, we provide behavioral health services for anxiety, depression, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Our services also include routine checkups and physicals, women’s health services, including pregnancy care and family planning, and dental care, like minor oral surgery and restorations, all supported by the convenience of an on-site pharmacy.
Our care extends even further to meet everyday health needs, including treatment for foot and ankle conditions like heel pain, ingrown toenails, and injuries, as well as support for concerns such as irregular heart rhythms and other ongoing health conditions. By integrating medical, behavioral, dental, and supportive services, we can address the full picture of your health and connect you with the resources you need to feel your best.

Our History
Founded in 1981 as a free pediatric health center, The Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, Inc. was officially incorporated in 1987, honoring Rep. Joseph P. Addabbo, Sr., a tireless advocate for affordable healthcare. For over 30 years, we have continued his legacy, overcoming barriers and improving healthcare access for individuals and families in our community. We now operate five health centers across the Rockaway Peninsula, Southeast Queens, and Red Hook, Brooklyn, providing a full range of high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective healthcare services.

Addabbo Family Health Center, Inc., a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center, is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of a diverse and representative group of patients and community leaders who donate their time and talent to further the mission of the Health Center.
