Shashala McGregor, NP

Shashala McGregor is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a diverse clinical background spanning primary care, long-term care, skilled nursing, emergency medicine, home care, behavioral health, and nursing education. Her experience supports a comprehensive approach to caring for adults with both routine and complex healthcare needs.

McGregor earned her Master of Science in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner studies from Hofstra University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from York College. Her clinical experience includes conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating health conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing care plans, prescribing within scope of practice, and educating patients and families.

Before advanced practice, McGregor built extensive nursing experience in emergency, telemetry, behavioral health, and community settings. She has also served as a clinical instructor for nursing students. Her background in acute care, chronic disease management, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration allows her to support coordinated, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's needs.
