We prioritize your convenience and healthcare needs by offering on-site pharmacy services at four of our locations.
Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center wants to make healthcare as easy, available and convenient for patients as possible. One way we can do this is by providing an on-site Health Center Pharmacy at four of our locations: 6200 Beach Channel Drive, Arverne, NY; 1288 Central Avenue, Far Rockaway, NY; 114-39 Sutphin Blvd., Jamaica, NY; and 120 Richards Street, Brooklyn, NY. Professional and knowledgeable pharmacists provide prompt, polite and friendly service and are always happy to explain your medications.

Our pharmacies carry a wide variety of over-the-counter and prescription medications and should you need a medication we do not carry, we will order it for next-day availability.

The on-site pharmacies work directly with healthcare providers, so there is no need to make an extra stop at a neighborhood pharmacy – you can leave with your prescriptions. When necessary, the pharmacy will contact your healthcare provider and coordinate with your insurance company to ensure you receive your medication as quickly as possible.

We also fill prescriptions from providers other than the providers at Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center.

Free Same-Day Delivery

For added convenience, we partner with Alto, a 340B contracted pharmacy that offers free, same-day delivery 7 days a week. Alto pharmacists are available until 6 pm ET on weekdays and 3 pm ET on weekends to assist with any medication questions.

If you are a patient at the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, using the 340B contracted pharmacies will automatically enroll you in the 340B Drug Pricing Program.

Our pharmacies work closely with your healthcare providers, so you can pick up your prescriptions in one visit. We also handle coordination with your insurance company to expedite your medication.

All the pharmacies specialize in the 340B Drug Pricing Program that provides low-cost medications for eligible patients, including the uninsured and underinsured. If you are a patient at the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, you are automatically enrolled in the 340B Drug Pricing Program. The pharmacies also accept most government and commercial insurance plans as well as payments by credit cards and cash.
