Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center to Host Free Community Health Fair in Far Rockaway

Queens, NY– The Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center will host a free Community Health Fair focused on “Sexual Wellness for All: Healthy Choices, Healthy Futures.” The event will offer vital health screenings, inclusive educational resources, and family-friendly activities to promote sexual and reproductive health across all age groups and identities.

This community-centered event aims to increase awareness and access to essential health services while creating a safe, inclusive environment for learning and engagement. Services and activities include:

• Free STI and HIV education and screenings
• Reproductive health resources and LGBTQ+ inclusive care
• Family planning services
• “Ask the Doc” booths for direct Q&A with medical professionals
• Consent and healthy relationship workshops
• Giveaways, raffles, and food (available while supplies last)
• Special early registration incentives, including food samples from local vendors

We invite Families, individuals, and community members of all ages interested in learning more about their health and accessing free, inclusive resources to attend. Interviews with medical professionals, community health leaders, and attendees will be available. Health screenings, interactive booths, and family-friendly activities will also provide photo and video opportunities.
