Brooklyn, NY – The Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center (JPAFHC), in partnership with The Campaign Against Hunger, is launching the Fresh Vibes Mobile Farmer’s Market, a community-focused initiative to expand Brooklyn and Queens residents’ access to fresh, affordable produce. This traveling market will offer a vibrant selection of fruits and vegetables grown by local farmers and sourced from trusted suppliers.
The market is open to all community members and JPAFHC staff, underscoring our commitment to equitable access to healthy food options. JPAFHC will offer a $25 Fresh Vibes voucher to patients who complete their annual physicals and health screenings. The voucher will be redeemable at the mobile market to further promote preventive health.
When & Where:
Good nutrition is essential for good health. Diets rich in fruits and vegetables are associated with a lower risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, and some cancers. Yet access to fresh, nutritious food remains a challenge in many communities. This mobile farmer’s market helps bridge that gap with an easy, local solution.
