At JPAFHC, we are dedicated to helping you access the health insurance coverage you need.
Our Insurance Enroller, IPA/Navigator program provides health insurance enrollment services to potential and current enrollees. Our staff educates potential and current enrollees about the New York State of Health – the Official Health Plan Marketplace and the numerous health insurance plans available – and provides education on and facilitates enrollment into Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan and Qualified Health Plans.

Our culturally and linguistically diverse IPA/Navigators are responsible for managing the various application stages from inception to retention. We assist potential and current enrollees with appeals, grievances, complaints and/or questions regarding their health insurance. Additionally, HIAP staff provides help to small businesses that are providing insurance to their employees through the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP). Our In-Person Assistors (IPA) are available to help you at four out of our five locations (Site 1, Site 2, Site 3 and Site 6). Additionally, we have an off-site representative at Achiezer, a community resource center for the Jewish population.
