NBC-4 highlights the efforts of the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center (JPA) to encourage community residents to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. The JPA staff has been conducting outreach and working with people many of whom have a general distrust in the government or the medical establishment for a wide variety of reasons. They have been “on the ground” speaking with people, answering questions, allaying fears and encouraging vaccinations.
