(PrEP & PEP, Ryan White, Project RITE, Care Coordination)

The Wellness and Social Services Department at Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center provides a variety of comprehensive and inclusive services including HIV prevention education, testing, and care and treatment for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) as well as PrEP and PEP to prevent HIV transmission. Additionally, HEP C testing and treatment, as well as medical and non-medical case management and health promotion for LGBTQ communities.
Our comprehensive HIV Specialty Care is based on the principles of accessibility, confidentiality, health promotion and patient satisfaction. It includes medical/dental visits, lab work, Pap smears every six months, TB screenings, immunizations for hepatitis A and B, pneumonia vaccine as needed, annual flu vaccines and referrals for preventive care.

The HIV specialty care case management/care coordination programs provide referrals for entitlements, housing, behavioral health, substance use, home care referral, job placement and training, family support and treatment adherence support.
