Behavioral Health (Psychology & Psychiatry)

Our Behavioral Health providers are here to provide a comfortable and compassionate environment for all your behavioral health needs. If you are experiencing an inability to sleep or sleeping too much, feeling tired for no reason, feeling anxious, experiencing a noticeable change in appetite, weight loss or weight gain, having difficulties at work or with friends, experiencing changes in thoughts/behaviors, low self-esteem, overwhelming sadness or thoughts of suicide, intentions or plans, it is critical that you discuss these feelings openly and honestly with your primary care physician, who can refer you to our Behavioral Health specialists. We work as a team to complete a full assessment and develop a treatment plan suited to the needs of each patient.

Our staff treats patients in a respectful, compassionate and culturally sensitive manner. Behavioral Health services include teaching, promoting and supporting coping skills and behaviors that will have a positive impact on a person’s health (emotional, physical, social and psychological) and help them restore their independence and well-being. We realize that every patient’s situation is unique, and our experienced professional staff individualizes treatment to reflect this philosophy. Families play an important role for our Behavioral Health patients, so we educate them about their patient’s illness and individual treatment plan.

Across the U.S., Behavioral Health issues continue to be under-diagnosed and ineffectively treated. These issues present themselves in a wide array of people, regardless of age, race or economic status and can have an impact on every part of a person’s life. Effective care of the Behavioral Health issues requires the integration and collaboration of Mental Health and Primary Care providers.

We provide a broad range of individual and family services for Behavioral Health issues, including: Anxiety, Stress, Depression, ADHD and Substance Abuse. This specialty begins with an individual evaluation and the development of a treatment plan to improve four key parts of a person’s overall well-being: Emotional, Behavioral, Social and Medical.

Behavioral Health Services are available as Telemedicine (virtual visits) or as in person visits at one of our 5 locations.

We welcome patients from Brooklyn, Jamaica, Queens, Far Rockaway, Arverne, Red Hook, Rockaway, Inwood, Long Island and surrounding locations. Please call 718.945.7150 or use our online form to request an appointment.
