“The encouragement and support I received from both the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center leadership staff and from my co-workers was incredible. They were all so supportive of my professional development and advancement,” says Maria, “It’s a dream come true and I am so grateful.”
Although it was sometimes quite challenging to work full time while pursuing educational and professional goals, Ms. Diaz-Ortiz is elated to have transitioned into her new RN position within the Health Center’s Nursing staff at Site 3.
