The Joseph P. Addabbo Health Center outreach team not only enjoyed the Caribbean Carnival festivities in Far Rockaway on Saturday, August 17th, but they played an integral role by providing health care screenings during the festival. Representatives from Behavioral Health, HIV Services and Marketing were present to offer free testing, blood pressure screenings and health education information. Complimenting the celebration of Caribbean culture, play and life, there were vendors, floats, steel pan bands, moko jumbies, masqueraders and parades.
