Now in its 11th year, the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center hosts a Farm Stand at its 6200 Beach Channel Drive, Arverne, location. Grown locally on a Long Island farm, fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables will be for sale every Saturday from July 13th through November 16th – ending just before Thanksgiving. In addition to the reasonably priced fresh produce, nutrition information is available, recipes and often, free samplings of fresh vegetable and fruit salads.
