Ruben Dossous charmed the Addabbo Dental Department during family dental appointments in February. February was Children’s Dental Health Month and the Addabbo team of dentists, hygienists and support staff were on hand to encourage all children to take care of their teeth – and of course, encourage all parents to make sure the children come in for check ups on a regular basis beginning at age 1 or 2.
“It’s never too early to teach children how to take care of their teeth so they avoid tooth decay and grow up with good eating and drinking habits,” explains Dr. Friedman, Director of Addabbo’s Dental Department. “Some parents mistakenly assume that baby teeth don’t matter because they fall out, but those baby teeth set the stage for strong, healthy permanent teeth. This young man demonstrates the importance of children’s dental care –he has a beautiful smile!”
The children always get some special gifts after their visits!
