Le-Nise Watson-Hudson, MSN, RN, Director of Nursing, earned her master’s degree in Nursing Leadership and Healthcare Administration at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona and a Bachelor of Nursing degree at Adelphi University School of Nursing in Garden City, New York.
Her professional nursing experience includes Medical Surgical, Hospice, Forensic, Pediatric and Pediatric Intensive Care, Geriatrics, Psychiatric, Behavioral Health, and Substance Abuse. Ms. Watson-Hudson mentors nursing students and drug addicted pregnant and high- risk young women in Queens, New York. She leads in development of outside partnerships with accredited nursing institutions for higher learning, serves on many nursing school advisory boards and participates in the development and implementation of Health and Wellness-Related quality improvement efforts such as evidenced-based treatment initiatives.
Ms. Watson-Hudson’s professional affiliations are with the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), American Nurses Association (ANA) and Queens County Black Nurses Association (QCBNA).
Ms. Watson-Hudson’s passion lies in advocating, encouraging, empowering and providing quality care for individuals who have been faced with a multitude of challenges and risk factors that complicate their progress in maintaining optimal Medical and/or Psychiatric Health and Recovery.
