Dr. Benjamin was born into a family of hard workers and a family that was always engaged in helping others and giving back to their community to improve the lives of others. He inherited that spirit of community and was eager to go to medical school to fulfill his life’s dream. That dream included being able to make a positive difference by serving in and near the community in which he grew up – Rochdale Village in Jamaica, Queens, New York.
Although his responsibilities include the administrative duties as the Chief Medical Officer, he enjoys the balance of patient care at Addabbo and the opportunity to sit at the table and have a meaningful voice in the important decisions. “During my recent years at Addabbo, I have been living my dream of providing care to those who truly need it and having an impact on how that care is delivered,” says Dr. Benjamin. “I am humbled that I have this opportunity.”
