The Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center has installed the very latest in temperature detection cameras at its sites. This advanced technology has been acquired to provide another layer of protection for our patients and staff. These sensitive cameras detect elevated skin temperature and can alert our staff immediately so appropriate protocols can be followed. Patients and visitors simply stand in front of the cameras when they enter the building.
This new level of protection enhances our current protocol of wearing masks covering the nose and mouth at all times, following social distancing procedures at all sites, frequent hand washing/sanitizing and restricting the number of people accompanying patients to an appointment.
This type of temperature detection device is used in emergency rooms, doctors’ offices, schools, airports and other crowded facilities as a protective measure from COVID-19. The installation of these temperature detection cameras is yet another step Addabbo is taking to keep everyone safe.
In-person appointments and TeleHealth visits are available.
