Dr. Altman came to Addabbo as a pediatrician in 1985, before it was even called the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center! She completed advanced fellowship training to become an allergist/immunologist, specializing in asthma and allergic conditions. She enjoys being a part of the medical staff at Addabbo and feels honored to work with other very capable physicians, nurses and staff who really care about their patients and the community.
Allergy and Immunology is an exciting, rapidly growing field of medicine, with lots of new developments every year. “It’s great to be able to offer newer, safer and more effective treatment to patients with asthma and allergic diseases,” says Dr. Altman. “It offers me the opportunity to get to know the patients and to work with them to improve their quality of life despite their medical issues.”
